The Department organized the Orientation Program for the reception of the students of the First Year 1st Semester 2022 on 08 September 2022. Professor Dr. Zia Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Dhaka, welcomed the freshers as Chief Guest. The Chairperson of the department, Professor Dr. Shaila Sharmeen, Chaired the program. It was a lively gathering with all the faculty, staff, and student of the department. The first-year students were introduced to the academic programs, rules and regulations, ethics, facilities, clubs, and different activities of the department. The program ended with a colorful cultural program.
